Registrar

The Registrar Office arranges variety of administrative functions of the University, maintains the records of the students, conduct admission process, provide guidance, counsels the students, and coordinate with students and faculty member. Registrar Office also prepares notifications, Office orders and send it to concerned people.

Vision:

The Vision of Registrar Office is to provide proficient and timely services to the students, faculty, administration and Staff.

Mission:

The mission of Registrar Office is to give efficient services to the undergraduate, graduate and research students as well as the entire faculty of the University, beside it also provide the accurate information and guidance to the concerned persons. Registrar Office produces and maintains Official Academic records of registered students and of the current and retired faculty.

Objectives:

1. To provide services to students timely and accurately.
2. To work with coordination to meet the deadline
3. Being the brain of University, Registrar Office always tries to facilitate the University and other people related to University.
4. To create a good image of University in front of governing bodies
5. To resolve the queries of students

 

Pre-Requisites and Procedures for Issuance of Office Orders/ Notifications from Registrar Office

Freeze Notification

Pre-Requisites:
Request should be filled on Semester Freeze Form
Clearance is Required from Accounts Department 
Clearance is Required from Controller of Examination *
Approval from concerned Head of Department
If a student freezes three consecutive semesters, He/she will be de-registered.

Fee
Check whether the request is conceived within the freeze period.
1. If the request is initiated within the freeze period**, then there will be no fine.
2. If the request is generated after the allowed time period, a fine of PKR 5000/- is to be paid by the student.
3. Freeze Request received after the completion of the semester will be charged PKR 10,000/- 
 
*Registrar Office has to get the approval of Controller of Examination for external campuses.  
** Freeze Period as per University Rules is 15 Days after the commencement of classes. Commencement date of the program/classes to be read from the Academic Calendar. 
Migration /Course Exemption
Pre-Requisites:
Request should be filled on the Migration Form
NOC from previous institution (Original)
Transcript from previous institution (Original)
The request should be approved by the concerned HOD/Dean.

Once the department has received the above mentioned documents, the case is sent to the Pro-Rector (Academics) for approval. Migration is notified after the approval of the Pro-Rector (Academics). 

Transfer (Campus and Degree)
Following scenarios can occur in the Degree transfer.

Pre-Requisites:
Request should be filled on the Migration/Transfer Form
NOC from previous campus/Department.
Interim Transcript.
The request should be approved by the concerned HODs/Deans.
Memo regarding Course Exemptions. 

While transferring the Student from one degree program to another degree program, we make sure that the following requirement criteria is met. 
1. The student must be an active registered student or on “Suspension” (because of third probation for low CGPA) during suspension period
2. The student must meet the admission and merit criteria for new program or campus
3. The student must apply for transfer within two weeks from the start of classes at the accepting department/campus.
4. The student must be able to complete his program within maximum applicable program duration starting from the admission date in his previous program/campus as per university policy
5. The transfer to new program/campus is not restricted by some accreditation body or council
