The department of technology at The University of Lahore offers Bachelors in Technology (B-Tech) Electrical, Electronics, Civil and Mechanical. B-Tech is an emerging and rewarding programme having a key role in modern industrialized world. In order to implement and maintain the existing and continuously updating technology, the courses have been set so as to provide the students fundamentals of respected technologies, as well as rising trends in them. In this regard, maximum exposure to latest technologies has been provided through outstanding curriculum, most up-to-date computer programs, and laboratory work.
Well experienced qualified and highly qualified faculty members will provide quality education re-phrase and prepare the student to achieve the following objectives in the Mechanical Engineering program.
1. A broad foundation in Mathematics, Physical sciences, and technology-based computer usage is essential for completion of the B-Tech programme.
2. A broad competence in respected technology, enabling the student to comprehend, discuss and make accurate decisions while resolving a technological problem in their organization, Confidently.
3. The faculty members are available in their respected rooms, with in-depth knowledge and experience in respected fields, to provide a learning and challenging environment for students to develop knowledge and skills that allows them to implement the theoretical standards with real constraints.

Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical (BTMC)
FACT FILE:
Short title: BTMC
Type and duration: 4 years
Entry requirements: D.A.E (Electrical), F.Sc (Pre ENG) or equivalent (Minimum
Second Division)
Degree Requirement: 8 semesters a period of 4 years duration and minimum of 133 credit
hours have to be earned as per program structure and minimum CGPA should be 2.0.

Programme Description:
In this era of modern technology, the field of mechanical technology is advancing rapidly. The challenging and broad subjects have continued to incorporate new concepts at an increasing rate making this technology a dynamic and exciting field of study. The University of Lahore has accepted this challenge by introducing B.Tech (honors) in Mechanical Technology. The Department is focusing on emerging trends in the field of Production & Manufacturing, Thermodynamics & Fluids, Design & Development and Industrial Management.
