
The Department of Civil Engineering at The University of Lahore offers B.S (Civil Engineering) Program.
Civil Engineering is a challenging field & requires sound footing in Mathematics, Applied Sciences & Computation skills to solve engineering problems in the areas of Hydraulics, Geotechnical, Structural and environmental Engineering. The curriculum is designed to facilitate the students to develop their capabilities by using modern techniques to solve engineering problems & utilize them in the construction projects of the country.
The specific objectives of the program are as follows:
To Impart state-of-the-art knowledge to the students in the field of Civil Engineering and produce competent civil engineers who will play a vital role in national development.
To Provide critical learning to the student for a broad function in various areas of Civil Engineering, including structural, environmental, geotechnical, water resources, transportation engineering and project management.
To Make the students aware of the advancement of engineering knowledge in the developed countries so that they may keep themselves abreast with such developments.
To Impress upon the student the spirit of discipline, code of ethics of the engineering profession and integrity in practical life.
To Prepare graduate engineers who are competent enough to face challenges in national and international markets.
