
The program is structured around a core of knowledge related to analytical and management tools, supplemented by advanced technical electives in the area of microwave engineering, power engineering, electronics engineering and communication engineering.
The students will have to study eight subjects of 3 credit hours each. In addition the student will submit research thesis of 6 credit hours.
The program has been designed for professionals working under the umbrella of Electrical Engineering who wish to enhance their technical skills for career advancement. Students will gain an ability to use advance Mathematics and stochastic processes for the analysis of engineering problems, an understanding and appreciation of concepts related to quality, information management and ability to synthesize knowledge, gained in course work, to a research project. This program not only enhances strength of the students in the area of their own choice but also makes them feel better prepared to compete in higher academic pursuits, like PhD programs.
