English Language and Literature
The Department of English offers a professional, yet congenial environment to teach and promote an understanding of both the significance and the history of British and American literatures and to foster an appreciation of the richness and variety of texts in the language.
The department values committed teaching and supervision in an atmosphere of vigorous search and provides students with a flexible program of study.
Our main goal is to create a dynamic learning environment that promotes student’s thinking capabilities, language and interpersonal skills. Moreover, our department emphasizes freedom of academic expression with the students. We also try to sustain highest standards of academic excellence, professional performance and ethical conduct.
Our academic staff comprises carefully selected teachers who are committed to support the students academically and socially. Students are prepared to face the competitive world. Since our inception, we are aiming at imparting quality education to the students.
