
This program consists of 69 credit hours with 29 courses. The emphasis is laid on an understanding of both the significance and the history of British and American literatures and to foster an appreciation of the richness and variety of texts in the language. We offer rigorous training in interpretive thinking and precise expression, teaching students to invent ideas, organise them, draw deductions and make connections to new ideas, and articulate them in eloquent and convincing ways. The English post graduation program features the study of imaginative language, rhetoric, and the poetic and narrative arts and it focuses on the roles imaginative writing and presentations play in almost every aspect of human experience.
This program will prepare students for examinations, the application of English language in practical life, as well as helping them acquire the competence in English to study abroad. It also aims at producing professional teachers equipped with latest instructional technology and opens new vistas of research in Language experience.
