Department of Mechanical Engineering
The department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Lahore will provide a sound foundation in, Science, Computation skills and Mathematics to solve engineering problems in the areas such as Thermodynamics, Fluidmechanics, Applied Mechanics, Design and Manufacturing Systems.
he curriculum includes Analytical Tools, Creative Thought, Communication Skills and their applications in engineering to solve the engineering problems of the real world for successful career and lifelong learning.
Experienced and subject specialists staff will provide quality education and prepare the student to achieve the following objectives in the Mechanical Engineering program.
An ability to apply knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Engineering.
An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
An ability to Identify, formulate and solve Engineering Problems.
An understanding of Professional and Ethical responsibility.
An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
An ability to communicate effectively and understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global and social context.
