Department of Technology in The University of Lahore is offering BS Technology Civil Program.

The main emphases of this program is to provide the students basic knowledge of Mathematics and other sciences and to utilize them in solving problems of structure, Hydraulics, GEO.Tech, Highways and Environmental Engineering.

It develops in students the basic knowledge of on-job training to enable them to work independently on the projects and to arrange and organize all repairs, set up tools, machines and other equipment required for Civil Engineering works.

Career Prospects

BS-Tech students are trained as technologists to face all challenges of the industry. The students are provided the basic techniques, skills and modern tools to perform as technologists at the projects. Due to their on-job training they are required on every construction project of the Country. They are in a position to utilize their knowledge in modern surveying methods for land measurement, construction layouts, and plan to prepare design documents. They are considered as the most important components of the construction technology.
