Department of Technology

Engineering disciplines have come a long way in developing societies to a level that we observe in our surroundings. Initially Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics were the main technologies being offered in all engineering setups. As the development progressed and services had to be provided to growing population, new and more productive methods became the need of the time.

New innovation & ideas became research models. This brought in specialization which needed more productive machines & methods. In order to achieve these objectives, new Technologies were introduced to justify demand pattern. Our courses are a blend of general subjects like English, Mathematics Applied Physics etc, helping students enters into the domain of Engineering disciplines gradually. University has made tangible progress in re-modelling its curriculum, enhance workshop facilities, hiring better qualified & experienced faculty. Realizing the impact of a better qualified Engineer on the overall improvement of products & services, the University has brought in a new trend into its learning process by providing exclusive Industrial training & Industrial visits to various relevant Industries & Engineering set ups to our students. This facility was not there before. But now students are being sent for various Industrial visits accompanied by faculty members. In this regard academic calendar has seen a major change in that Annual & Semester system students will go to various Industries for two months, July & August, training program which will be monitored by the Faculty on regular basis & the students will prepare their progress report for evaluation by selected body from Faculty to earn them credit hours.

This trend has exclusively been introduced in Technology Department in the University. The ultimate benefit of such an Industrial exposure program has the likelihood of lot many students, hopefully, being offered jobs in the industry itself.

Bureau of Training & placement cell is being established to spread our wings into Industry for placement of our students and also learning new trends & methodology by sharing knowledge & experience so that University can bring changes in syllabus according to Technological changes that are being brought in to the Industry.

Mission Statement

The Technology Department is to cater for the future needs of the industry and it has vision and potential to produce engineers who are needed in the market.
